Channel Manager – B2B - Cape Town

Our Client, a National Telecommunications Sales Giant based in Cape Town is growing fast and is looking for a B2B - Channel Manager.

Formal qualification(s):
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
Legal requirements
Passed credit and criminal checks
S.A Permanent Resident or valid work permit for S.A
Valid driver’s license

Training
Induction, on boarding and on the Job Training and vocational training

Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in an Account Management role or similar, ideally within the telecommunications industry
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving sales volumes in the B2B sector.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This role is responsible for the set-up, design and maintenance of the company B2B strategy in relation to the objectives set by the client.

The successful applicant will design processes to
engage with, and acquire, B2B customers, as well as the fulfilment of sales orders.

The role will also monitor, track and recommend improvement in of the company’s B2B acquisition strategy in order to meet business goals.

The role will require supplier negotiation, commercial understanding, as well as strong industry knowledge, staying up to date with competitor pricing and offering.

Professional communication to all partners;
Build strong working relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders;
Solving queries in respect of failure in service delivery and/or customer complaints within agreed timeframes;
Analyse and adapt new strategies to react to changing market or industry trends;
To prepare presentations, proposals, plans, contact reports as necessary.
