Channel Manager - Cellular Industry - Cape Town - Competitive Package

This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, assisting with and driving external performance on the Cellular Network sales campaign, through multiple channel partners.

The individual will offer creative solutions to challenges enhance and drive productivity within all channel partners, ensuring effective query resolution, quality applications and sustainable performance.

The role requires travelling for site visits.

Key Tasks:

1. Financial Management
Cost effective allocation and use of company resources.
Assist the company to meet its targets and stay within budget parameters.
Monitor spending and track to output, where applicable
2. Governance
Interpret and apply company policy and departmental procedures where applicable;
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
3. Strategy
Source and on-board channel partners for the MTN campaign;
Present plans on sustainable performance improvement initiatives;
Represent the company on all channel visits and engagements;
Conduct and chair meetings with internal and external stakeholders;
Compile and present monthly feedback reports for the Executive Team.

Formal Qualifications:
? Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience


Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in an Account Management role or similar, ideally within the telecommunications industry;
Demonstrated experience managing more than one client account essential
Awareness of company policies and procedures;
Understand business ethics and values
Understand company structure and reporting lines;
Understand the business processes and procedures;
Advanced level of IT Literacy (MS Package - Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite;
Strong numerical ability;
Knowledge of the Telecommunications market/ industry/corporate customer and their needs;
Knowledge and understanding of Service level agreements;
Problem analysis and problem solving skills;
Ability to network with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
Training:
Induction, on boarding and on the Job Training and vocational training

Legal requirements:
Passed credit and other employment checks
S.A Permanent Resident or valid work permit for S.A
Valid driver’s license
