Top Security Products Distribution firm seeks Channel Sales Rep - Surveillance Equipment. To build relationships with new sales channel partners and grow sales through them. To maintain and grow revenue through existing channel partners.

Non-Negotiables (We will check):

* Expert at B2B sales of electronic products
* Can hunt for new accounts and then grow revenue in those accounts
* Able to land large corporates -- land and expand
* Technically minded - Can technically grasp Security Surveillance Equipment

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Security Products Distribution sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Sell the following equipment through security service providers:

* Electronic Security Hardware
* CCTV, Access Control, Alarm, Gate Automation & Electric Fencing
* Commodity Tier 3 to the channel with upsell possibilities to Tier 2 or even Tier 1

Daily Sales Activities

* Profile partners
* Create Approach Plan
* Call / Visit
* Close Door Opener Deals
* Expand Accounts

* Manage Delivery Process
* Mini- PM of Smaller Deals
* Oversee Opportunities

* Internal Sales Processes

Key Job Deliverables:

* Generate R1 Mil Turnover, R350K GP through Channel partners
* Acquire Tier 1 - Very Large Channel partners
* Grow Top 20 Accounts from Tier 2 to Tier 1
* Acquire 50 new Tier 2 Channel partners

Background work experience:

* 3+ Years B2B Electronics Sales Experience
* Adv: 2+ Years in the Security Industry
* Adv: Electronics Qualification such as National Diploma
* Adv: Sales Related Courses
* Hunter Sales and Large Account Acquisition
* Channel and Account Management - Relationship Selling, Selling through others
* Technology Demos
* Bid Support
* Excellent Presentation Skills
* Management of Complex Procurement Processes

Salary: Market Related. Basic in the Range of R20K to R25K per month + R2.5K petrol + comm. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
