Leading international property in central Africa is looking for an experienced culinary skills all-rounder at this top landmark hotel and resort to start as soon as possible.

Will suit someone who is energetic and not afraid of hard work but wants exposure to an international clientele and to gain solid experience in this beautiful part of the world.

Must have matric or equivalent and a recognized formal Diploma qualification in Culinary Arts/Professional Cookery.
A minimum of 5 years management experience in the culinary industry (preferably as Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef/Sous level)
International experience would be an advantage
4 & 5 star fine dining experience plus a la carte, buffet, weddings and functions, some baking etc.
Catered for international guests
Creative person who can recreate traditional colonial food with a modern international twist
Someone who displays resourcefulness and creativity with the local products of this country
Have proven experience in producing good wholesome food
Strong in cost controls and management including Micros
Very hands on chef who will train, coach/mentor and develop his/her team
