5 * Property seeks strong Chef Tournant/Sous Chef to head up kitchen for private guests. Formal Qualification, min 4 years exp in 5 * or similar environment, min 2 years as a Senior CDP. 30 days annual leave, 8 days off per month. Knowledge of HACCP, Pos, Opera, Word, Excel. Responsible for liaising with Front Office staff to determine guest details, arrivals, special meals etc.....stock control, orders, meet & greet, ensure high quality at all times, assist with events, report maintenance issues to Management, minimise wastages, ensure safety and hygiene standards, monitor operational equipment, menu planning and presentation, food costings. Must be passionate, have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, lead by example, mentor staff, hosting, be organised, able to work alone and/or part of a team, able to multitask, good time management skills, be motivated, strong attention to detail, knife skills, Cold/Pastry/Meat/Fish/Sauces and have good food and wine pairing experience.
