What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Battery Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Analysis of R&D Designs
* Analysis of Existing Manufacturing Processes
* Executing conceptual trials
* Development of Practical Product Designs
* Testing and optimising designs
* Development of maunufacturing processes
* Rollout of product to production
* Follow product roadmaps

Key Job Deliverables:

* Convert R&D Designs to practical products
* Execute trials, experiments and practical prototypes
* Ensure designs are cost effective and easy to manufacture

Background work experience:

* 5+ yrs Chemical Engineering
* Pref: 3+ yrs Battery Chemistry or similar
* BSc Chemical Engineering (MSc Advantegous)
* Complex chemistry, such as battery chemistry
* Deep knowledge of reactions and different types of chemistry
* Adv: Actual R&D experience
* Adv: Automotive OEM Manufacturing Experience

Personality Summary:

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R 300K to R 480K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
