Chemist in the R&D department

At least B.Tech degree in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical engineering

Knowledge of chemical processes used in fertilizer production.
Experience in a laboratory environment with planning and execution of a structured experimental program.
Experience in operation of pilot scale equipment relevant to chemical industry will be an advantage.
Problem-solving abilities will be an advantage
Planning and execution of an experimental program on both lab-and pilot-scale to assist in the development and optimization of technologies. Projects may involve basic research and/or product development.
Formulation and application testing of new products.
Support of production targets and be involved in the development and implementation of production improvement projects.
Collaborate with R&D team members, production and commercial teams regarding product formulation, process parameters, scale-up, and trial support.
Compilation of research results in scientific report format and presentation of results and recommendations to customers.
Analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
Capacity to deal with complex issues both systematically and creatively
IT skills and the ability to use computer-controlled equipment
Communication and presentation skills.
