A chemical manufacturing company is looking for a Chief Accountant who in close support of the business, manage with maximum efficiency all accounting activities in line with local and corporate practice and policies, ensuring proper optimization of assets (fixed, current), liabilities, cash flows and risks ; optimize the tax liabilities and protect the legal interests of the company.
Provide financial expertise within the organization, ensuring complete adherence to local legislation and implementation of Group accounting policies and procedures.
Enforce the procedural framework defined for the organization and set up appropriate management control tools to monitor performance of South Africa and propose corrective actions where necessary.
Assure accurate and on-time financial and qualitative expenses and trial balance reporting to local management, regional and Corporate Finance management for South Africa activities and entities, in particular for: Accounting statements (Profit& Loss and Trial Balance)
