MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Finance – Preferably a MBA/BCOM/FAS
• Experience within the Transport Industry (Preferably Busses)
• Relevant Working Experience
• Previous experience within a CEO and CFO role
• Marketing Diploma / Qualification will be advantageous
• Strong analytical skills
• Very detail orientated

Role profile:
• The Revenue Manager/Chief Commercial Officer is ultimately responsible for the company's revenue. Guided by the strategic objectives, as determined by the Board of Directors, the CCO must set annual revenue budgets, and direct al commercial operations towards the successful achievement of those targets in a highly competitive environment. The CCO must develop and continually enhance the internal competencies, systems and people to maximize sales, hence ensuring the long-term financial strength of the company.
• The commercial organization consists of various central (head office) functions and teams, as well as more than 30 sales offices around Southern Africa. Additionally, the commercial organization is responsible for managing relationships with hundreds of external agents and various commercial partners.
• The position will be based in PTA/CPT, however it requires regular travel around Southern Africa, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique.
• This is an EXCO level position, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Candidate profile:
• Experience and qualifications
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications, preferably supported by a post-graduate qualification in business management.
• Credible commercial operations experience in relevant industries, of which at least 5 years experience at senior or executive level management positions, with experience in relevant functional areas such as pricing, revenue management, and sales and marketing.
• Experienced in utilizing technology and systems for functions such as reporting and decision-support in a fast-paced business environment. The candidate must have the demonstrated ability to identify the need, conceptualize a solution, and direct the development of such systems in collaboration with IT teams for the benefit of the organization.
