SALARY : R988 52.00 – R1 181 469.00 per annum (all inclusive package)
CENTRE : Johannesburg (Head Office)
REQUIREMENTS :
A recognised Degree in Built Environment.
• A minimum of six to ten years management experience of which at least five years must have been in a senior management position.
• Must have experience with infrastructure/ property research, policy formulation, green technology and related infrastructure/property management areas
• Valid drivers’ Licence.
• Registration with Professional body a must.

COMPETENCIES : Knowledge of Architectural Profession Act of 2000, National Building
Standards Act of 1977 and Regulations.
Occupational Health and Safety Act
of 1993. Government Immovable Asset Management Act of 2007.
SKILLS : Financial management, change management, knowledge management
and Microsoft proficiency.

• Manage the commissioning of relevant research as requested by line managers and trends in the institutional environment within which ORGANISATION functions.
• Manage research projects in line with the approved research agenda of ORGANISATION.
• Manage the interpretation of relevant research publications and include findings in policies and/ or public debate of ORGANISATION.
• Manage and analyse property management rates, market related rates and trends.
• Manage the establishment, updating and continued improvement of the property management specific documentation system.
• Manage the settling of quality, occupational health and safety standards in line with legislative requirements and international standards.
• Manage the establishment, roll out and continued improvement of the project and programme management systems of infrastructure delivery.
• Manage the provision of professional guidance to EPWP for the design of contractor development programmes.
• Manage the analysis of protocols and policies to determine specific green technology projects and programmes.
• Manage the planning, design and budgeting of green technology projects.
• Manage the implementation of green technology projects.
• Manage interaction with local and international stakeholders to inform longer term infrastructure planning in close collaboration with the Planning Commission.
• Manage the provision of equipment required by personnel for achievement of outputs in their respective Job Descriptions.
• Manage funds in such a manner that an unqualified audit report for all financial transactions entered into by the Chief is achieved.
• Align the strategic priorities and the work plans of the Chief Directorate with the priorities of ORGANISATION
