The plant improvement organisation, SAPO Trust, currently offers the above-mentioned position. The ideal candidate should have excellent human relationships, the ability to communicate on all levels, be innovative and use own initiative. Business acumen and suitable experience in the competitive agricultural industry are requirements for this position. The post further requires a suitable agricultural qualification, while experience in the fruit industry will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will report to the SAPO Trust and will be responsible for the overall management function, including: • strategic management • overall financial control and budget management • personnel management • operational management • relationship management • marketing management.
