Our Client, situated in Alice, and in the agricultural sector requires CEO to assist and full filling and executing the company's vision and mission of creating profitable black empowered Agricultural business by transforming latent communities into profitable, self sustaining business and creating shared value with shareholders and communities.
Strategic Business Plans - Developing strategic business plans for new projects and partner with government with the objective soliciting capital and infrasture to develop and grow land
Demand-Supply Opportunites - Manage demand-supply opportunities by
analysing market and industry trends and pro-actively implement countermeasures to influence costs and to manage spent i.e. sourcing and hedging main inputs such maize.
Land Development - Pro-actively and continuously looking for opportunities within communial areas for further development
External Consultants - Create an influential partnership with external consultants to ensure that recommended solutions are viable for the farms and there is valueadd for services rendered i.e. 'Win-Win' partnership
Farm Performance - Daily monitoring farm performance, manage sub-standard performance and follow through with improvement plans
Funding & Capital Development- Strategically submit project plans on time and in full and access funding from government
Community Development - Leveraging support for communities through trading partners.
Provide support to community leaders and various trustee boards with the
objective of bulding financial acumen and getting communities and their structures tax compliant.
Serve the role of a technical partner to communities when dealing with government departments that have impact on the community's projects. Provide support to communities business structures with respect to challenges on land, beneficiary expectations and business opportunities
Commercial Farmers - Builidng a commercial farmer network and leverage on
accessing business opportunities within the community network
Government - Interacting with Ministers and relevant MEC's to optimise business interest. Keep abreast of relevant department's priorities in regard to community support programmes. Keep abreast of government legislation and changes related to land and /or relevant and support communitity structures with compliance
Dairy Trustee Board - Present business/financial progress reports and manage
shareholder expectations.
Interact with the company board, prepare and present business/financial
reports, provide risk and opportunities and solicit buy-in for new projects
Manage Talent & Succession Development - Build talent pools and manage
succession development for business key positions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Honours Degrtee in Bcom Accounting or equivalent, MBA and/equivalent an advantage
12 + years Operations experience in the Agricultural environment
15 years experience both at Management andf Senior Management level
Strong experienc in networking with different stakeholders at different levels, i.e. Government and Executive Board
Project Management Experience essential
Strong proven financial background and track record
