One of our clients in theMining sector is seeking a Chief Internal Auditor to join their Corprate Office in Johannesburg. Job purpose: To assist in providing the necessary assurances to the Audit Committee of the Mining Company on Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Internal Control by planning, managing executing and reporting on the various assignments on the Annual Audit Plan. The incumbent will be responsible in ensuring the audit methodology, auditing systems, processes and resources within the Internal Audit Department are in place in terms of the Professional Practices Framework for Internal Auditors and are operating effectively and efficiently. Further, this position would require the incumbent to takes cognisance of applicable legislation and best practice principles, with the ultimate goal and aim to assist in managing the daily activities of the Internal Audit Department in a responsible manner. Requirements: •CIA or Relevant Degree / CA (SA) •10 Years’ Relevant Experience (5 Years on Management Level) •IIA (SA) Member.
