The COO will oversee the organisation’s ongoing operations and procedures. The COO will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of the business. The COO role is a key member of the management team, reporting only to the Managing Director. She will have to maintain control of diverse business operations, and should be an experienced and efficient leader. She will have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics.

Roles and Responsibilities
? Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
? Set comprehensive goals for performance growth
? Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
? Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
? Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of marketing, sales, finance, operations and projects
? Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
? Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
? Write and submit reports to the MD in all matters of importance
? Assist the MD in fundraising ventures
? Participate in expansion activities, i.e. investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.
? Manage relationships with partners and vendors
? Acts as a liaison between company and client for quality assurance
? Coordinates with HR to recruit skilled talent
? Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives
? Manage all the finances of the departments
? Manage the accountant to ensure that the company’s financials are in order

Qualifications and Experience
? BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field
? MSc/MBA is a plus
? 10 years minimum experience
? Understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, sales, operations, etc.
? Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
? Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
? Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
? Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving
