Chief Operations Officer (COO) to be based in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The COO will be responsible for leading the Enabling function, ensuring organisational sustainability through operational infrastructure. This includes people, systems and financial architecture to enable the co to implement its strategy.
This is a senior leadership role in the organisation – both in terms of implementing existing services, as well as in terms of planning and implementing expansion into new service areas and into the rest of Africa, both non profit and profit in nature.
Outputs
The COO role is responsible for:
??Creating and sustaining a financial architecture in alignment to organisational strategy (including re-engineering management information systems and maximising financial resources);
??Ensuring appropriate legal architecture and organisational compliance (with laws, policies and standards);
??Leading a human capital architecture that is aligned to organisational culture and strategy (cutting edge approach);
??Ensuring appropriate technology and office support;
??Effectively managing the Enabling business unit budget;
??Leading the Enabling team; and
??Delivering the customer experience.
