An exciting opportunity exists for a Chief Rock Engineer at a mine based in Limpopo. The successful candidate will provide the underground design layout that will show the pillars and ore removal outlines, locations and positions. Minimum Requirements • Chamber of Mines Rock Mechanics Certificate (Metalliferous) • Relevant degree or diploma (BSc/BTech Geology/Mining) • Blasting Certificate (Metalliferous Mines)/Mine Overseer’s Certificate (advantageous) • Medical Certificate of fitness • 7 years’ mining Rock Engineering experience • Minimum of 5 years at a Senior Rock Engineering level, preferably on a metalliferous mine • Competent in Microsoft Office and Micro Station • Should you meet the requirements for this position, you can forward your comprehensive CV to ****@*****.*** or fax to (***)-***-****.
