Duties:
• Assist in or take the lead on planning, building and spec’ing of network solutions for either the employer or customer requirements
• Undertaking data network fault investigations and implementing resolutions in local and wide area environments
• Ensure proper configuration and deployment of ISP or customer networking equipment while adhering to organizations standards and practices
• Liaising with project management team, 3rd line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis

Requirements:
• Valid Matric certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have Matric or Grade 12
• A relevant IT Qualification will be advantageous
• Excellent understanding of switching and routing and their related technologies, TCP/IP, IP Addressing (v4 and v6), CIDR and DNS. Cisco CCNA or equivalent would advantageous
• Excellent understanding of long-range wireless, Ethernet, ADSL and Diginet
• Must be well spoken, have a good command of the English language and must be able to deal with customers in a professional manner.
