Description
Administers, and maintains Citrix server environment, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and supporting software, and Windows Server Operating System (OS). May assist with small scale or less complex integration projects.
Assist in the proof of concepts for new technologies to improve Citrix environment effectiveness.
Troubleshoot AppSense policies and software.
Supports Citrix servers and related hardware/UCX software.
Troubleshoot file systems and directory structure associated with the Citrix environment.
Respond to problems with remote access systems and technology, transitioning to Networking team as needed.
Troubleshooting analysis and resolution of hardware, OS, and applications
Modify documents related to application installations, configurations, and processes as appropriate.
Monitor system up-time and metrics related to system stability.
Create Requests For Change (RFCs) and participate in change management process in related to Citrix.
Participates in special projects and/or performs other duties as assigned. Participates in on-call rotation according to schedule.
In-depth understanding of: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Microsoft System Center and Citrix technologies, such as: XenDesktop, XenApp, Storefront, Director, and VMware
In-depth understanding of Xenserver and Hyper-V
