Job Description

Oversee and manage subordinates
Monitor construction on site
Admin for Civil Engineering contracts as well as general and project admin
Compose payment certificates
Examine and approve tenders, preliminary designs and technical drawings
Manage the design of civil engineering outlines
Act as the Lead Consultant for project management
Prepare reports for designs, feasibility, evaluation and close-out sales
Analyse quality control plans and method statements for construction
Liable of any technical queries and solutions thereof
Will lead meetings on site and be responsible for taking minutes
Liaise with team members and clients
Ensure all disagreements are resolved
Assist with safety, project health and environmental matters

Minimum Requirements

BSc / BEng, B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng or PR. Technologist
SACPCMP registration will be advantageous
Efficient in MS Office
5 - 10 years’ experience in the relevant industry in relation to Municipal Infrastructure
5 years’ experience in project management related to subsidised housing
Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
