RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a qualified CIVIL ENGINEER / SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST (specialising in pavements and asset management) for a well-established national concern, the successful candidate will either be based in Umhlanga or Pietermaritzburg.


REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Civil Engineering.
Professional registration with ECSA as PrEng or PrTech is ESSENTIAL!
8 years’ experience in pavement engineering.
10yrs+ previous experience in an engineering environment.
Pavement condition assessment and authoring / interpretation of pavement materials investigation reports.
Structural analysis of pavement structures.
Recommendations of pavement maintenance and rehabilitation.
Report compilation on pavement assessment and design.
Preparation of technical pavement specifications for tender documentation.
Technical support to construction teams to ensure successful implementation of pavement designs.
Successful development and implementation of Road Asset Management Projects.
Developing, managing and delivering positive outcomes of research and development initiatives.
