My client is looking for a Design Engineer who specialises in Water & Wastewater to report to the head of the Civil and Structures department for a full time permanent position in Durban. A qualification in B.Eng or B.Tech with a minimum of 10 years’ experience is essential; professional registration with ECSA as a PrEng or PrTechEng is preferable.

Candidate must have integrated knowledge of: the design of large diameter steel pipelines and Waste Water Treatment works; on-the-job experience on projects regarding the design and management of projects; and surge/water hammer analysis is required. Knowledge of Epanet; Hammer; Surge2010MS Office; Civil Designer Suite; MS Project is essential.
