Renowned Company is looking for a talented and results-driven Supervisor to manage our Employer team and call centre. The Supervisor will specifically focus on ensuring that TTD (temporary & total disablement) claims are correctly assessed according to the rules of the COID Act and that the claims are submitted to the Compensation Fund for collection, whilst striving to maintain the highest level of client service.

The ideal candidate should have experience in managing and processing accounts/reconciliations, organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, applying relevant rules and ensuring quality compliance. You must possess strong communication and leaderships skills as well as the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively. The Supervisor will be excited about guiding, training and supporting their team members and is highly motivated to help our company fulfill its larger mission. The successful candidate will be people-centered, supportive and flexible in order to get the most of his/her team.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory position dealing with the processing of accounts (debtors/creditors/payroll).
Experience in medical or IOD accounts will be advantageous.
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
Computer literate – intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
Fluent in English. Afrikaans will be advantageous
Ability to motivate and manage a team
Deadline driven individual able to perform under high pressure
Flexible to adapt to changes in daily routine on short notice
Excellent communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
Solid understanding of accounting & mathematical principles – preferably debtors or creditors experience
Good Understanding of the COID Act, specifically focused on the following areas will be advantageous
Rights of the Employee to Compensation
Obligations of the Employer
Determination and calculation of compensation for temporary, total or partial disablement
Knowledge of all systems utilized by the Department of Labour to process COID claims will be advantageous

The Supervisor is responsible to motivate and manage the team in an encouraging manner to ensure that the team performs and accomplishes the targets set by Management.
A supervisor within the Operations Department is held responsible to encourage the development of each member within their team, with a focused drive to improve the team member’s ability to apply for promotion within the Company.
The Supervisor’s actions must always promote employee loyalty to our company’s vision.
