The successful candidate will be responsible for the following weekly and daily tasks:
• Packing of coats onto shelving in an organized manner
• Ensuring dirty coats are kept separated from clean coats
• Issuing of coats to all factory staff members before the start of shift and during the day where needed
• Ensuring staff do not enter the ablutions with their coats i.e. taking in of coats before staff enter rest rooms and issuing them back after they have exited the rest rooms
• Conducting on-going daily spot checks in the canteen and male bathrooms to ensure coats are not stored in locker rooms
• Ensuring all dirty coats removed by staff at the end of shift are neatly stored in the drums. At the start of a new shift the dirty coats are to be removed from the drums and placed into bags ready for collection
• Ensuring cleanliness of the outside coat storage room
• Ensuring hygiene standards are met in the following areas: Men ablution facilities and laundry room
• Replenishing of the consumables such as toilet paper, soap, sanitizer and hand paper towel.
• Replenishing of mop caps and beard snoods at the factory entrance
• Ensuring the deliveries correspond with the Receipt forms and signing off on this
• Ensuring receipt forms are neatly filed in an organized manner
• Cleaning of the chemical and consumable store room on a weekly basis, ensuring the area is neat and tidy
• Conducting weekly stock take for ordering of gloves, masks, chemicals and consumables
• Assist cleaning staff when necessary i.e. during busy audit months and during low level cleanings
• Wiping down of oils outside mixing room on a weekly basis
• To communicate with the QA Team Supervisor when a delivery was not made and/or coats are running short.
• To communicate with the QA Team Supervisor when there are any concerns or when coats are noted in poor condition. The QA Team Supervisor will then escalate these concerns to First Garment Rental.

Requirements:

• A grade 12 qualification
• Good numeracy and accuracy skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail and work well under pressure
• Willing and able to work shifts and overtime, as and when required
• Good housekeeping skills
