We are looking for a zealous Client Liaison / Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing and Client Liaison Officer in marketing, client liaison and administrative duties.
• Grade 12
• BSc / Btech in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
• Fully computer literate
• Previous training / experience in Graphic Design
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Publisher, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.). Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator experience will advantageous.
• Drivers Licence and own transport.
The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following job functions:
• Assist Client Liaison / Marketing Officer and undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
• Support the Client Liaison & Marketing Officer in organising various projects and in-house events
• Assistance in planning and writing the Marketing plan for the year
• Assistance in Search Engine Optimisation
• Conduct market research and analyse consumer rating reports / questionnaires
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
• Update the marketing database continuously
• Assist in the creation and sending of a quarterly newsletter
• Assist in the organising of promotional events such as conferences / breakfasts and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to assist in the facilitation of their success
• Compose a social media content strategy, and compose and assist in posting online content on the company’s website and social media accounts in the absence of the Client Liaison & Marketing Officer
• Write and design marketing literature (brochures, press releases, articles etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
• Communicate directly with clients via an external and internal online ticketing portal in the Client Liaison & Marketing Officer’s absence to encourage trusting relationships with clients.
• Proven experience as a marketing assistant
• Strong administration skills
• Good understanding of marketing principles
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach
• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
• Exquisite communication and people skills
• Strong business writing skills for brochures / newsletters / articles for the website.
