CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER ROLE

Minimum 5 years in wide range of banking activities,
8 to 10 years of experiences is preferred.

*FAIS accredited qualification is compulsory
*Knowledge of domestic and international banking practices
*Experience in analysing and evaluating financial statements.

*Complete understanding of Balance sheet structures and Accounting principles and policies
*Knowledge of the legal steps to be taken to recover bad debts.
*General knowledge of the legal aspects of finance and legal risks. Eg. Companies Act, Bank Act
*General knowledge and understanding of collateral security documentation, the completion thereof and legal aspects when having to realize security
*Must be able to bring in new clients for the organisation

Main Job duties:
*Attract assets and liabilities in line with targets allocated, expand allocated client base, assess new business ventures and negotiate with clients. *Prepare information to present to Credit Preview Committee, complete application within 3 working days of Credit Preview approval. *Market new deposit clients and service and maintain existing deposit relationships, including renewals and extension of deposits.
*Maintain relationships, and expand business on existing portfolio.
*Cooperate with BDD members and other relevant departments to structure the business to match client’s needs.
*Reviews and Post Lending Management Reports (6 monthly) to be completed prior to due date / expiry date. *Implementing the policies, rulings, procedures and PPM of Head Office and the Branch.
*Compliance with the Rules and Regulations of SARB, Company Act, Bank Act, FICA, AML, etc.
*Assist BDD management with any ad hoc tasks / requirements, when required
