Clinic Manager - Cape Town
Qualification in Financial Management or management tertiary qualification essential.
5 years minimum work experience with 3 years in a managerial position.
Experience in a similar environment is preferable.
Manages clinics' annual capital and operating budgets and monitors expenses
Ensures continuous profitability of the clinic by ensuring effective cost controls
Controlling and monitoring of debtors days
Signing off of total expense approval and implementing measures to improve cost controls
Effectively and efficiently completing Human Resources administrative tasks timeously returned to HR
Assisting and implementing of training activities
Ensuring staffing levels are correct and maintained at all times in accordance with the applicable staff model and recruitment policy.
Manages, in collaboration with the HR Department, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff training and development, promoting team work and fostering a positive work environment.
Maintaining and enhancing relationships with a multi-disciplinary and diverse team
Service delivery to all patients, doctors and internal customers
Proactive problem solving skills with ability to take initiative and make sound business decisions
Ensures an uninterrupted flow of operational efficiencies
Monitoring of financial control by implementing spot checks
Ensuring standards set are adhered to within the clinic
Overseeing and where necessary authorising and/or obtain authorisation for Capex’s re: building equipment / maintenance of the clinic
Ensuring that effective housekeeping is maintained at all times throughout all sections in clinic and surroundings
Developing and maintaining and encouraging positive relations between doctors / dentists / other professionals and staff
Motivating and maintain a positive customer service orientation with all staff through various company initiatives
Promoting the clinic to the community through visitations, pamphlets and advertising to schools, industrial environments
Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills across all levels is essential
Strong customer service orientation
Computer Literacy: MS Office with advanced Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of SAP, Educos & ME+ would be advantageous
