MANAGER - Lead the Dept in South Africa (Clinical Engineering) - Medical Electronics / Capital Equipment

Train and supervise equipment technicians (medical electronics, capital equipment related to the medical device industry)
Work with regulators at hospital inspections and audits
Serve as a Technical Consultant to the customers who are purchasing products from this global medical device company (i.e. physicians, administrators, IT etc)
Monitor the progression of the biomedical equipment in order to redirect hospital procurement patterns accordingly
Influence the trajectory of biomedical innovation
Form bridges between the end user, and the product originators in your company (offices are abroad - R&D)

Healthcare Technology Management experience is essential to apply.

The candidate must hold an appropriate professional educational credential (engineering usually) with a track record showing the path of career as a field service engineer or biomedical technician, progressing upto management level. From the healthcare industry (hospital or industry)
