We are seeking a Clinical Facilitator (must be an RN) for half day post to work Monday to Friday from 07h00 – 12h00pm to join our client, a Nursing College in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is a 1 year fixed-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities of this Clinical Facilitator include:

• Accompanying College students on practicals to various facilities
• Travelling to various facilities around the Southern Suburbs on different days
• Facilitation of all categories of nurse students at different facilities
• Assessing the students according to the training schedule
• Assisting students in the application of theory to practice
• Conducting assessments of learners and preparing related documentation
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Acting as the liaison between the students and the facilities

Requirements:

• To be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current SANC registration
• A qualification in education will be advantageous
• A minimum of 2 years post nursing education qualification experience
• Clinical facilitation experience
• Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Knowledge of relevant nursing and healthcare education and legislation
• Knowledge of teaching and learning principles
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
