A leading private hospital group is seeking a Clinical Facilitator for their Limpopo based hospital.

Requirements:
Nursing Degree or Masters Degree
Must be a Registered Nurse with the SANC
3 - 8 Years nursing experience
Prior facilitation experience is essential
Must be results driven with strong technical orientation and clinical competence
Good interpersonal and English communication skills
Strong Accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate supervision and training of all basic learners / permanent staff
Facilitate and assist Unit Managers with teaching
Assist with quality assurance and maintenance of nursing standards
Facilitate a continuous in-service training program in the units
Formulate and implement policies and procedures
Place and rotate learners in the various disciplines to gain clinical competence as required by their program
Provide clinical facilitation for learners and permanent staff, both at the bedside and in a structured format
Identify the learning needs within the various disciplines, to ensure that facilitation / teaching is appropriate for the current practice and circumstances
Quality patient care
Taking control and responsibility of unit from time to time
General supportive leadership in theatre
Be prepared to do call/standby duty
Responsible, accountable and reliable
Mentoring of theatre staff
