Clinical / IT Support Technician

Educational Requirements:
Matric
Relevant IT qualification

Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in desktop support & customer service
Must be well spoken
Must have good communication skills (written & verbal) in English & Afrikaans
Must be well presented
Must be attentive to detail
Must be analytical & able to solve problems
Must be proficient in Microsoft office
Must have own transport
Must be willing to work weekends & after hours
Must be able to work in surgical environments as well as handle medical professionals

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical & technical support of image guided surgery systems in theatre
Collection of equipment / stock from clients & suppliers
Install, repair, setup & maintain stealth station, Inav portable system, Framelink DBS system, O – Arm imaging system, Stealthviz planning station and related equipment
Diagnostics & fault finding
Repairing of faults
Training theatre, medical assistants & radiology staff
Travelling to various hospitals and clients etc.
Installing, maintaining and providing support on specialised medical hardware & software
Providing desktop support
Attending to dataset & networking issues
General admin

Additional:
Training is provided on equipment, software, medical terminology, procedures etc.
Salary R10 000 – R12 000 per month (CTC)
3 Month probation period
50% medical aid following probation
Petrol reimbursement, cell phone & laptop provided
May be required to travel countrywide from time to time
Must be able to work in surgical environments as well as handle medical professionals
Must have own transport & valid license
Will be required to work after hours & over weekends as needed in theatre etc.
