We are a group of private in-patient psychiatric clinics that prides itself on providing individual, integrated and family-oriented treatment for a range of psychiatric, psychological and addictive conditions. We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with great experience to join our team in our Milnerton offices.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Conducting orientations/intake assessments and outcomes project assessments.
Conducting group therapy sessions as needed.
Conducting individual and family therapy sessions as needed.
Administering assessments when needed.
Management of individual cases.
Attending ward rounds and providing feedback regarding the patients’ treatment.
Fulfilling administration requirements in line with the HPCSA regulations.
Carrying out administrative duties for COPE as required to ensure the smooth running of the unit
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, including with psychiatrists, and liaising with other professionals as necessary.
Assisting with and covering the duties of other COPE team members as required.
Attending group supervision, and it is further also required that individual supervision be sought as and when needed.

The non-negotiable requirements are:-
1. Registration with the HPCSA and BHF as a Clinical Psychologist
2. Ability to run therapeutic groups and undertake individual assessments
3. Exposure to/experience with psychiatric patients
4. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary hospital-based team
5. Own transport and a willingness to work with flexibility
6. Ability to work under pressure
