Excited about the cloud space, this might be your opportunity. We need a Cloud Applications Architect to join our client based in Johannesburg North.
Must have
Deep domain expertise in cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS), breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends required
5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects) required.
Must have held a similar role, or have prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position
Experience in deploying consumer facing solutions incorporating Cloud Security, Base cloud stacks (from IaaS to working with big data technologies from storage through to analytics, Machine Learning to Artificial intelligence), Cloud Integration (pulling together best of breed capabilities from other cloud service providers and integrating into a single solution for clients), definition of standards and management tools to sustain the cloud solutions deployed.
Strong knowledge of standards and automation/management tools to sustain cloud solutions e.g. DevOps technologies and processes related to cloud solutions
Background in infrastructure and development although not essential would be advantageous
