SALES EXECUTIVE
R 10 – 15 000 Basic + Comm

o Exciting opportunity, has been created at innovative national startup.
o You will be required to sell one of the most exciting cloud based platforms to hit South Africa with an 8 out 10 success rate in securing appointments.
o This is a target based position and therefore monthly targets will need to be achieved.
o Must have 3 years’ external business development and business sales experience, ideally in office automation / tech
o Role is best suited to a “hunter” who is well versed in cold calling and generating new business and who is experienced in liaising at C-level.

Requirements:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Software Sales
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable car
• Valid SA ID
• Bilingual
o Must have own Laptop.

Minimum experience required for this position:
• 2 Years software external sales and new business development experience
• Proven Sales Track Record in B2B sales

The following are primary responsibilities of the position:
• Discover and Recognise the needs of the client and connect the dots.
• Must be highly curious and be able to “speak” technology and know the industry.
• You will know the product and the vertical within which you operate.
• At times serve as a customer service rep for customers who have questions or
• difficulties with products and services sold by the company.
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical
• specifications and other features of the product.

Job Description:
• Make up: 1/2 of Total Commission Structure
• You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your client and have an intimate understanding of their business.
• As an account manager, you should work to satisfy client’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver an excellent client experience.
• As account manager you will have the following responsibilities.
• Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
• Developing positive relationships and handling clients’ needs
• Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
• Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
• Report on the status of accounts and transactions, payments
• Deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
• Attending client meetings (every 2nd month at a minimum)
• Leading project management and solution implementation activity
• Provide training when new operators are added.
• Follow up on late and overdue payments.
• Completing administrative work as required
• Update Apptivo CRM.
