CLUBHOUSE MENTOR

Job Purpose
Training, administration and implementation of Clubhouse Program and ICT functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Clubhouse Coordinator /ICT Project Officer in all ICT activities.
• Mentoring of Clubhouse members on various projects
• Provide support to young people to use computers and technology to design their own games, videos, music, art, graphic designs, robots, science simulations, computer games, animation, etc.
• Teach, coach, conduct workshops on at least three of the following topics:
? Graphic design
? Animation
? Visual Art
? Simulations
? Video production
? Music production
? Photography
? Game Design
? Robotics
? Web Design
• Develop and implement innovative creative exciting fun projects for all clubhouse members
• Provide basic computer maintenance, including file management, trouble-shooting, and technical support to Clubhouse clients
• To assist in the administration of Clubhouse program operations
• Assist in the development, management and implementation of all Clubhouse Activities
• Liaise with stakeholders and service providers
• Responsible for ICT asset management
• Administration of ICT Finances
• Assist with ad-hoc ICT/TDU/Sci-bono/GDE projects, functions and activities
Minimum requirements:
1.1 Education
• Studying towards or possess formal ICT qualification (Certificate/Degree/Diploma)
• IT teaching/training credential will be advantageous.
• IT qualification in technical hardware software and/or networking, programming, and/or database design and management, and/or website design and management, advantageous.
• IT qualification required in at least three of the following range of software products covering animation, video and music production, gaming, robotics, Programming, etc.

1.2 Relevant work experience
• Min 1 year Experience
• Experience in facilitating or training youth on ICT programs.
• Experience in community outreach to involve a diverse group of youth, parents, teachers and community leaders.
• Experience in training administration advantageous
• Exposure to educational environment
• IT Experience in technical hardware software and/or networking, programming, and/or database design and management, and/or website design and management advantageous.
• IT Experience and proficiency required in at least three of the software packages listed above.
