Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to engage the services of a CNC machinist. Ideal candidates must be well experiences as well as trade tested

Qualification:
• Technical qualification in CNC machining
• Trade tested/ Engineering qualification
Responsibilities
• Reading and interpretation of drawings.
• Setting and operating of machines.
• Checking of sizes and using correct measuring instruments.
• Instrument calibration.
• Plot sizes on ODP.
• read drawings of jobs
• set up fixtures on CNC machine
• clock fixtures on CNC machine
• operate CNC machine
• edit programs where needed according to drawing and /or drawing revisions
• write small programs / sub programs where needed according to drawing and /or drawing revisions
