Top Machining and Fabrication firm seeks CNC Manager. Manage automated machining and fabricating department. Manage production of machined parts.
Non-Negotiables (We will check):
* Expert in CNC programming and Machining
* Expert in FANUC Controls
* AutoCAD Drawing and Loading into Machine
* Strong understanding of machines and basic setting, repairs, maintenance
* Driver Analytical
* Hands-on Manager
* Independent Self Starter
* 3+ years CNC programming
* 5+ years CNC setting and machining
What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Machining and Fabrication sector. All duties would take place in this context:
* Manage Production of CNC machined parts
* Programming Machines (Euromac CNC punch machines, 6 axis bending brakes with robot control, Laser cutters, Mills and Lathes)
* Operating machines and managing operators
* Managing customer orders and ensuring that their needs are understood
* Managing CAD Drawings
* Reduce scrap and wastage
Key Job Deliverables:
* Manage CNC Automation Division
* Grow the division by offering different CNC related services
* Expand technology e.g. Add in new laser cutters
Background work experience:
* 3+ years CNC programming
* 5+ years CNC setting and machining
* CNC Programming Certificate
* CNC setting, programming, FANUC controls
* Firstline maintenance on CNC machines
* CNC operating
* CAD and Loading Drawings on to CNC Machine
* Adv: Management/Team Leader Experience
Personality Summary:
* High Analytical - Strong with analysis, metrics, data and fact based decision making.
* Moderate Driver - Ambitious, Results Orientated Go-getter. Self-Starter. Makes things happen.
* Moderate Administrative - Good with procedures, processes and best practices.
