COBOL Programmer/Developer
Requirements
? National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
? A relevant IT tertiary qualification (diploma / degree) would be ideal
? 3 years’ proven experience in Cobol development within an on-line and / or batch environment
? Experience in the following development languages:
? Cobol
? Unix
? SQL
? JCL (Job Control Language) or equivalent
? Knowledge of:
? IT systems development processes
? Application development
? Standards and governance
? Testing practices
? Solid understanding of:
? Banking systems environment
? Banking business mode
? Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
