Our client seeks to appoint a Code 10 Driver with a PDP who has been responsible for Drivers duties as well as administration duties within a corporate environment. The successful incumbent will also have a stable job track record. Must be available to start immediately.

No long haul drivers / truck drivers will be considered for the position. We are looking for people who have experience as school bus drivers, tour operators, lift club drivers etc.

Skills Required:
• Matric (Grade 10 minimum).
• Code 10 with no endorsements
• Experience with school children will be advantageous.
• Valid PDP.
• Minimum of 2 years administration experience.
• Computer literacy
• Fluent communication skills (speaking and understanding).
• Of sober habits.
• Clear criminal record.
• Previous Advanced Driving Certification is an added advantage.
• Dedicated and trustworthy.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Duties shall include the following:
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of school busses and vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain updated knowledge of bus routes and road construction.
• Strictly adhere to daily pick-up and drop-off schedules for school, sporting events and special outings.
• Assist children in crossing heavily trafficked roads.
• Be flexible to assist after-hours for pick-up’s and drop-off’s.
• Get involve in general administration ie; parcel deliveries and collections, basic office administration
