Cold Store Manager

Requirements:
Matric
Certificate in Warehouse Management
Minimum of 10 years warehouse/cold store management and operations experience at managerial level with relevant administrative experience.
Sound management and organising abilities.
Function well under pressure and when working long hours.
Computer literate.
Own reliable vehicle
Driver’s Licence
Must be available for weekend work

Duties:
Full spectrum of cold storage – financial and daily support functions pertaining to the cold store management function inclusive of the sourcing of new business.
Receiving, storing, withdrawing and dispatching of products
Managing of cold store trading activities and operations
Directing of daily cold store activities including customer service, office operations, and proper utilisation of space, equipment and manpower.
Managing of customer product storing activities
Managing and maintenance of facilities and equipment
Implementation of safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs
Rendering of support, guidance and training of staff
Building and maintaining healthy relations and customer service.
