Duties:
Reporting Directly to the Senior Collections Manager
Responsible for maintaining key relationships at all levels internally and externally
Tracking and monitoring of Trace across Collections and Recoveries
Performance management of Specialized EDC’s to include the following: target setting, site visits, relationship building and performance reviews
Managing default judgements, trace and deceased estates
Ensuring that the company achieves and exceeds both its Write-Off targets and Recoveries Targets
Providing strategic direction to the EDC’s
Monitoring and reporting on all payment channels
Conducting best practice in EDC management in order to maximize efficiency and growth
Tracking and monitoring of trace across collections and recoveries
Monitoring and reporting on all delinquent customer queries
Proposing improvements to strategies, processes and systems to mitigate further queries
Ensuring Internal Collections department and EDC’s comply with relevant regulations including NCA, Prescription, DCA, Admin Orders, MCA and Deceased Estates
Setting up and managing an internal compliance team and processes to ensure compliance with all internal and external collections processes; strategies; policies; Service level agreements and EDC contracts
Manage and coordinate administration staff to ensure effective execution of operational requirements
Monitoring of daily production, and initiating procedures to increase efficiencies
Monitoring performance management daily

Essential Requirements:
Matric
Degree/Diploma in Commerce (Credit Management or Law)
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Knowledge of External Debt Collections Industry
Minimum 5 years Collections Management experience
•Experience in Lending and Retail Industry Collections (advantageous)
End to End auditing and compliance processes (essential)
Experience in Vehicle Finance Collections which includes voluntary surrender; repossession and legal processes to Judgement (advantageous)
