FLUENT IN GERMAN + ENGINEER & ACCOUNTING DEGREE + 5 YEARS COST MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING + EXP WITHIN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY ADVANTAGE + EXP STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS

The key purpose of the position will be to grow the business and to maintain profit margins.
The incumbent will report to the General Manager.
Pre-requisites:
1. Management accounting qualification or equivalent Engineering qualification
2. 5 years in a cost and management accounting role similar to that above
3. Must have strong “can-do” perspective
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Hands on performer who is willing and capable to get involved
6. Solutions oriented with strong influencing and presentation skills
7. Fluent in German
Responsibilities include inter alia:
1. Identifying new opportunities both in automotive and non-automotive sectors
2. Developing and maintaining customer relations
3. Evaluation of the feasibility and profitability of certain business products and presentation thereof to senior management
4. Actively pursuing new RFQ’s from existing customers
5. Preparation and submission of RFQ’s to the customer and the negotiation thereof to an award level
6. Maintaining profit margin of existing products through effective negotiation with the customers
7. Negotiating price increases and adjustments on a regular basis with customers
8. Monthly reporting to for presentation at the monthly financial reviews
9. Interaction with project managers and engineers to successfully introduce new products into the mainstream production facilities.
