Commercial Content Producer

Purpose of the Role:
To write, produce and ensure effective implementation of commercial content
 
Requirements:
Matric
Tertiary education preferable
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in writing and producing audio elements for radio
Copywriting – proficient at writing copy for radio
Producing – good understanding of the radio production process
Passion for radio – good understanding of the Cape Town radio landscape
Comfortable managing multiple campaigns concurrently
High attention to detail
Systematic and organised
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Positive, honest and reliable with a high level of integrity
Enjoys working with technology and has up to date knowledge of social media
Proficient on MSWord
Proficient on MS Excel
Experience of audio editing software
 
Duties:
Copywriting of all commercial content as required
Producing of all commercial content as required, including production quotes, voice casting and direction
Station approval of all commercial content
Sourcing, packaging and curation of feature audio, competition moments, show activations and station highlights as sales collateral
Compiling post campaign reports for advertisers
Fielding of proposals and requests from associated sales representatives
Managing general communication on advertising, sponsorships, promotions, competitions and giveaways
