Our client in the aviation maintenance industry is looking for a Commercial Directorate Executive Manager.

Duties:

  • Customers: Responsibility for liaising with prospects and customers from initial presentation stage through negotiation to contract signature and delivery of the aircraft.
  • Business Plan: The CDM is accountable for reaching the Business Plan in terms of new, pre-owned aircraft sales, customer support activities and overall customer satisfaction whilst always seeking to achieve the set margin objectives.
  • Promotional and public relations activities: The CDM is responsible for defining, coordinating, and implementing Communications & Events as required for promotional events to maximise company exposure in its territory.
  • Authority: Authority to enforce related priorities.
  • Promotion: Promotion of communication within the company to ensure coordination of delivery process (contract review meeting, acceptance protocol, etc.).
  • Flight demos: Organisation of flight demonstrations, customer flights and acceptance flights, as required.
  • Budget / Business Plan: Prepare business plan and departmental budget in conjunction with the CEO.  Compile and implement the marketing plan.
  • Managing:  Responsible for managing the Commercial Directorate staff members.
  • Ad hoc duties: Perform other ad hoc duties that may arise within the scope of the position.

Export control point of contact - Appointed Export Control Manager overseeing the compliance with the company's Internal Compliance Programme: The export control point of contact (PoC) missions are to define and implement in the subsidiary the company export control policies and to coordinate all export activities.  This mission includes, with the support of the export control department - 

- Act as the interface between the company export control department and the subsidiary, address export control topics during top management meetings, and perform awareness to managers and relevant control department.

- Apply and implement the Sanctioned Country Process within the subsidiary in close coordination with the company export control department.

- Apply and implement the Procurement instruction (EI 06-17 ‘’ Procurement Export Control’’) in close coordination with the company export control department and strategic procurement export control manager.

- Apply and implement the rules related to import and re-export of items/commodities subject to foreign government regulations (EP 03-08).

- Ensure that activities undertaken by the subsidiaries are done in compliance with required or granted local and foreign import/export authorisations.

- Provide export control department the reporting required by the company's national authorities.

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification or equivalent, alternatively a Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Development or similar.
  • Proven Sales Experience  (at least 8 years) within a similar role.
  • MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Intermediate - Andvances level)
