3-5 years’ Post Articles experience

Job Description:

Over and above the Financial Management side of the business, this Commercial function will include:

Maintaining accurate financial accounting including sound record-keeping, timely reporting and risk mitigation.

Implementing strong Management Accounting including margin analysis, project profitability, FX hedging / strategies, and assisting with negotiations.

Using your sound Financial and Management Accounting foundation and understanding and then taking it to the next level, by assisting the CEO with putting together financial structures when procuring new projects, albeit with forming JVs or SPVs, understanding its legal and tax implications, and structuring it in a way that will be mutually beneficial to both company and client.

Taking this to yet another level: not only will you be doing the background work for these exciting deal structuring, you will also get the opportunity to directly form part of the negotiations and implementations team. This will afford you the great opportunity of directly interfacing with corporate clients and helping to secure business through displaying an in-depth understanding of the business, the financials and value of each financial proposal.
