Leader in the Financial Services environment seeks a Business Development Manager to grow and maintain a portfolio of brokers / new franchises for the Commercial Insurance Business lines. The salary includes a basic component (R50k + per month) + bonuses, cell phone and petrol allowances.

Outputs :
• Grow and manage strong relationships with Intermediaries (brokers/consultants/franchises)
• Facilitate the on-boarding of new intermediaries and training requirements around product, system and processes
• Assist with the on-boarding of new intermediaries and training relevant to products, systems and processes
• Develop new business based on targets
• Present the Company on Industry platforms
• Risk Management

Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Matric
• Tertiary qualifications are desirable
• 3 Years' personal and commercial broker/franchise portfolio management
• 5 Years' personal and commercial short-term insurance underwriting
• FAIS –Personal and Commercial lines credits as (Mandatory)
• RE 5 Representative (Mandatory)
• IISA designation (Beneficial and it will be expected to complete the qualification)
