COMMERCIAL INSURANCE SALES CONSULTANT, SECUNDA


Purpose:

To establish and maintain business relationships with identified key customers, render support services to them and sell Commercial insurance products.


Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
60 FAIS credits or a full qualification as per legislation
Regulatory exam
2 years' applicable Commercial Insurance experience
Multilingual, including English
Ability to communicate in Afrikaans is an advantage
Communication and negotiation skills
Computer literate (MS office including Outlook)
Excellent telephone etiquette
Valid drivers license

Duties:

Source leads
Visit prospective clients
Complete a needs analysis
Complete a record of advice
Sell and write up new policies
Advise clients
Attend to customer enquiries, complaints and grievances
Contact new clients and underwrite policies
Issue new policies to clients
Data capturing
Ensure the establishment, maintenance and retention of new, existing and terminated relationships
