A leading engineering design and project management firm seeks to employ a Commercial Manager to be based in Johannesburg. The suitable candidate will have extensive experience in contracts management, primarily maximizing the commercial value of projects. This also includes exceptional quantity surveying experience.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering

Must have a post graduate Project Management certificate

Must have 10-15 years’ experience in building services (Resident housing)

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Commercial Manager role

Must have experience in Project engineering or Contract Management.

Must have Extensive FIDIC, NEC, JBCC contract and commercial management experience

Must have experience with developing proposals and solutions to a wide range of technical, operational and business challenges.

Must have basic knowledge of typical construction purchases and service level agreements

Must have experience with leading a team, managing the supply chain and to deliver high value, complex projects safely, on time and within budget

Must have experience in ensuring safety, health & hygiene in a construction environment.
