Your core function within this TOP Banking concern, will be to drive a team of Relationship Managers within the small business space, to guarantee that targets are met and that and policies and procedures are adhered to. We are looking for a results driven individual who will be passionate about leading their team to success while ensuring a high level of client service and absolute integrity. This role will have a strong focus on internal procedures and will require a candidate who enjoys making 100% sure that every “t” is crossed and every “i” is dotted.

You will need to have a solid understanding of:

Orchestrating interaction between internal role players and clients
The ability to proactively identify clients’ needs and guide Relationship Managers to react appropriately to expressed needs
The development of appropriate solutions to identified financial needs
Ensure that your team interacts appropriately with clients including briefing on complex products, processes or legal requirements
Ensure the quality of written or verbal proposals are in line with Company protocol
Ensuring that the negotiating and concluding deals and the management of relevant documentation is meticulously and timeously concluded
Guiding team with regard to tailoring client service levels according to assessment of current and potential value in line with the sales process.
Assuming responsibility for ongoing risk monitoring and management
Compiling reports

Requirements for this important role include

Bankers Exams, Degree
Minimum 5 years in a similar role within the financial services industry
Up to date knowledge and understanding of GAAP Rules and IFRS.
Ability to read, analyse and interpret Financial Statements
Strong understanding of underlying drivers of financial indicators (e.g. margin, etc.)
The ability to understand the key business issues and all relevant external factors impacting on the success of an enterprise
Ability to identify & assess industry dominant economic traits, competitive forces, trends & dynamics.
