A vacancy exists for a suitably qualified Commercial Manager in the Short Term insurance industry. Offices are based in Westville. Salary on offer is R45k to R50k per month.

Minimum Requirements are:
1. Matric
2. Short term insurance Diploma/ certificate
3. IISA Certification
4. Candidate must be FICA and FAIS compliant
5. Minimum 10 years experience in a similar environment
6. Minimum 60 Short Term Insurance Credits
7. Must have Commercial and Domestic insurance experience

Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Sourcing of New Business
2. Underwriting
3. Claims
4. Management of 35 staff members
5. Provide technical support and advice to brokers
6. Management of budgets
7. Setting targets
8. Focus on branch profitability
9. Product profitability assessment input into segment strategy
10. Managing compliance & risks: FAIS & FICA
11. Client complaints
12. Sales Process and Advice
13. Compliance: Fit and Proper, Audits
14. Relationship management
15. Manage and monitor progress against targets
