This position will be focused on revenue generation as well as assisting the General Manager in their duties. Have an eye on networking with potential suppliers, cost management, budgeting, regulation and legislation connected to this industry as well as liaising with customers and shareholders. This person will also be managing staff compliment.
Qualification:
Relevant Tertiary qualification in Finance or similar
Skills & Experience:
Relevant experience in commercial strategy, brand management, marketing etc.
Experience in a regulated industry – highly essential
Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Job Description:
Building and maintaining new and current customer base.
Networking with suppliers, customers, shareholders and other relevant stakeholders.
The ability to develop new and interpret and drive existing commercial strategy through marketing, advertising and other promotions, product management, revenue analysis and reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with various relevant departments within the business.
Managing the department budget.
Managing and preparing revenue and expense budgets.
Staying abreast of all current information in order to be able to provide crucial information to the General Manager at any given time.
Ensuring compliance to policies, procedures and other statutory law and legislation.
Dealing with site complaints and issues in an effective and timeous manner.
Staff management including recruiting, training and performance management.
Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to the General Manager and other relevant parties.
